Research at the Ford School
Faculty Research
Through our faculty, who hold joint appointments in many of the University of Michigan’s outstanding social science departments and professional schools, the Ford School acts as a catalyst to foster interactions among faculty and graduate students with both theoretical and applied interests.
These interdisciplinary connections promote the diffusion of advances in the social sciences to the policy world, generate cross-fertilization and learning across policy domains, and challenge social scientists to learn from attempts to address society’s pressing and enduring problems.
