CLOSUP's new education policy seminar series, a core component of the Education Policy Initiative, continues with a panel session entitled 'The Role of the Private Sector in K-12 Public Education.'
Panelists include Mr. Michael Flanagan, Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of Michigan; Mr. Frederick Hess, Director of Education Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute; Ms. JD Hoye, President of the National Academy Foundation; and Mr. Sanford I. Weill, Chairman Emeritus of Citigroup, Inc. Dean Deborah Loewenberg Ball of the University of Michigan School of Education will serve as discussant, and Professor Brian Jacob will serve as the moderator.
