PUBPOL 421 - Religion, Politics, & Public Policy

This course will examine the sometimes supportive, sometimes antagonistic relationship between religion and the state. We will explore arguments about the proper role of religion in civic life; the use of religious organizations to manage public policy; and the efforts of religious movements to change law, policy, and government.
