PubPol 750-006 - Economic Policy Issues in Developing Countries

This course will focus on economic development policy – intended to achieve rapid and sustained economic growth and alleviate poverty (spreading wealth). While the focus will be on macroeconomic policies, some microeconomic level policy interventions will also be examined. Students will focus on the experience of specific countries.
