This course reviews the literature on sex differences from a biological, social, and legal standpoint. Students examine and evaluate the major economic, sociological, and psychological explanations of wage differences and the evidence for these explanations. Finally, students investigate five areas of public policy and employment: comparable worth, affirmative action, sexual harassment, minority women, and sexual orientation.
